Robert Bean: Artist - Illustrator - Storyteller - Teacher

I started slinging stories on canvas and paper professionally in 1998, but I've been creating visual narratives since I first discovered the pulpy pages of comic books around age 8. I love to find an image in every story and a story in every image.

Born and raised in Arkansas, Robert has decades of experience creating narrative images in a variety of media. Most fond of ink and paint, Robert loves to create bold images that incorporate text and visual elements together. He developed his skills at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he received a degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in Drawing. Robert is also a graduate of the ArtistInc program and currently serves as the Department Chair of Painting and Drawing at the Museum School of the Arkansas Arts Center. He resides in Little Rock, still slinging stories on canvas and paper.
